It was a blustery weekend in the Hundred Acre Wood, but we went ahead with a Winnie the Pooh Party for little Lucas who turned 2.

The Buffet Tables
I decorated three different tables for food, one for the lunch, one for drinks, and one for the 96 cupcakes that were baked for the party.
For the lunch [...]

Potty Party

posted on March 30, 2011 —

I stumbled upon this adorable potty party on Cakes likes a Party blog and had to share how adorable and fun it is.

During her all day long potty party with her son she left toilet paper decor out, and gave him a wrapped present every time he pottied!  What a great incentive!  I love it.

posted on March 19, 2011 —

What a windy day to set up for a party here in Colorado!
To avoid all of the linens and lovelies blowing away, we had to put the sidewalls up on the canopy…booooo!  The decor turned out pretty anyways, and Savannah loved it, so I guess that is all that matters!

Blair Britt Events did!  She found that desk at an antique store and knew it would be perfect for a dessert display she was working on.  I have to say I agree, she was right!  Of course, she took [...]

Adorable Mom Made Pirate Party

posted on February 26, 2011 —

I am a believer that with a little creativity and work is all it takes to throw a great party.  You don’t have to buy all the matchy matchy box store stuff.  Paper plates with pirates on them, along with a plastic table cloth with pirates on it. … so boring.  Creating a cool area that makes [...]

Although most of us are dreaming of summer, it is unfortunately still quite a winter wonderland.
So lets make the best of it.

Nothing like green grass, lemonade and hay bales to make you day dream about summer.
This amazing party from Kate Landers Events is so quaint and lovely.
I love the table made of hay!

Books as a favor, so cool.

The dessert table is just as simple and pretty.
